Sara L. Markert earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, from California State University at Fullerton. After completing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Markert obtained her JD from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco in 2007. After graduating law school, Ms. Markert worked as an Associate at a successful civil litigation firm in the greater Los Angeles area. Ms. Markert is admitted to the California State Bar the New York State Bar.

Ms. Markert is a member of the American Bar Association and several local bar associations including: the Los Angeles County Bar Association (participant in the Real Property, Business & Corporations Law, and Litigation Practice Sections since 2007), the Orange County Bar Association, and the South Bay Bar Association. Ms. Markert is admitted to practice in all the courts of the State of California.
