Originally from Colorado, Starlet J. Japp received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 2001, Ms. Japp moved to Nebraska to attend Creighton University School of Law. Ms. Japp received her law degree in 2004 and was admitted to the Colorado and Nebraska Bars.

Before moving to California, Ms. Japp worked as Deputy District Attorney in both Colorado and Nebraska. As a Deputy District Attorney she spent the majority of her time successfully representing the State in criminal proceedings.

Ms. Japp moved to California at the end of 2005 and was admitted to the California Bar. Ms. Japp has primarily been litigating civil real estate disputes while practicing in California. Ms. Japp is admitted in California, Nebraska and Colorado.
