James R. Finn attended Siena College in Albany, New York, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business in 2003. Mr. Finn thereafter obtained his Juris Doctorate from Western New England College, School of law in 2006. During law school, James was a founding member and director of the school's branch of the American Constitution Society, a member of the Real Property Clinic, and worked for a Massachusetts litigation firm.

Prior to joining Houser & Allison, APC, Mr. Finn was an associate at a New York litigation firm and focused his practice primarily on insurance law, commercial claims, and negligence actions. Mr. Finn is admitted to the New York Bar and the Massachusetts Bar. James is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Brehon Law Society and the Nassau County Bar Association.
