Victor Matthews was born in New York, New York in 1979.  Mr. Matthews received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2004.  He previously attended Binghamton University, where he was a member of the rugby team and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2001.  Mr. Matthews volunteered his time by mentoring local students while at Binghamton University, and also volunteered as  a guardian ad litem while at Wake Forest.

Mr. Matthews was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 2004 and the New York State Bar in 2005.  He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.  Prior to joining the Firm, he gained experience in civil practices in the fields of general commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, real estate litigation and title insurance defense litigation.  In 2002, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Ralph P. Franco in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Nassau County.
